Lyocell is one of the best modern fabrics since it’s soft, moisture wicking, wrinkle-resistant and strong. It’s also sustainable. Lyocell is 100% biodegradable and compostable as it's made of wood harvested from eucalyptus trees in a “closed loop” process with no harmful by-products. It’s then broken down into tiny pieces and then dissolved into a wood pulp. The dissolving solution is recyclable (“closed loop”). The result is a liquid raw cellulose that is then heated and broken into small pieces. After being filtered, the cellulose goes through a spinning process that turns it into bright, long and thin fibers that are then woven into fabric.
